Dr. Aafia Siddiqui Passed Away: A lady who got Ph.D degree in Neurlogy Sciences got more than 75 awards from Howard university and 2 other American University Passed away The News circulating on social media.

A New York court sentenced Pakistani scientist Aafia Siddiqui to 86 years. In this much-discussed case, Aafia was found guilty of attempting to assassinate American soldiers in Afghanistan.

The 38-year-old Aafiya has been named as Lady Qaeda by the American media. Afia was suspected of having contact with al-Qaeda, but she was never accused of terrorism. She was found guilty of assaulting US troops in Afghanistan in February. In this case, Judge Richard Berman said, “My verdict is that Dr. Siddiqui should be kept in jail for 86 years.”

Voices of protest against the harsh punishment given to Siddiqui are also rising in Lahore and other places besides his city Karachi in Pakistan. People demonstrated in many places to protest against this decision and shouted anti-American slogans. In Karachi, Afia’s sister Fauzia Siddiqui told reporters that the whole of Pakistan will support them in their agitation for the release of Afia. But in the court room in New York, Aafia continuously appealed to the Muslims to remain calm. She said, “Forgive everyone in my case. Forgive Judge Berman as well.”

Siddiqui is a neuroscientist. She has studied at the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Brandis University in the United States. In court, Aafia said that the appeal against the verdict has no meaning. However, his lawyers have said to appeal in the upper court. Lawyer Charles Swift stated, “There were a lot of mistakes in this case and those mistakes have to be corrected. So it is important that an appeal is made.”

Siddiqui, a mother of three, attacked American soldiers in Afghanistan in July 2008. She was then being interrogated at a police station in Ghazni city. She snatched an officer’s rifle and opened fire on the American officers and agents of the FBI present there. According to the prosecution lawyer, she snatched the rifle of the American officer and opened fire and raised slogans of death to America. However, the bullet itself was shot by Aafiya.

In this regard, the defense lawyer said that there is no evidence that Siddiqui snatched the rifle. Neither his fingerprints are found nor gun powder. The lawyers also termed the government’s efforts to prove Aafia’s relationship with Al Qaeda and a woman preparing to become a terrorist.

Though Siddiqui was not charged with terrorism, it was said that documents containing dangerous chemicals in Karachi and information about important New York locations were recovered from him.

Afia, who is thin and frail, lived in Afghanistan’s jails for five years before being arrested in 2008. It is alleged that she married an al Qaeda activist who is currently in Guantanamo jail and is facing trial. Human rights activists threw up the case of Aafia. They support Aafia’s claim that she was abducted and jailed by US authorities in Pakistan in 2003. The defense lawyers also tried to prove Aafia insane. But health experts gave different opinions about this and the judge rejected this argument.

Two years ago, Afia’s ex-husband had said in an interview that before his sudden disappearance along with his three children, Afia had insisted on him to join the jihad too. At this time, his two children are missing. It is said that one of them has died. The third child Mohammad Ahmad lives with his relatives in Karachi.Today Dr. Aafia Sudden News really hurt Pakistani people. However her sister on social media reveils that in 4 years we don,t have any news of her.
