Tom Cruise has heaped praise on Kate Middleton and Prince William after reuniting with the royal couple at the London premiere of his new film, Digger.
The Hollywood star, 64, described the Prince and Princess of Wales as “amazing” and “very charismatic” after spending time with them at the glitzy event on Tuesday, Sept. 22.
Cruise opened up about the meeting during an appearance on the Friday, Sept. 25 episode of The Graham Norton Show.
“They are amazing — very charismatic. I had such a good time,” he said, according to a release obtained by PEOPLE.
The appearance marked another red carpet reunion for Cruise, William and Kate, four years after they were seen together at the U.K. premiere of Top Gun: Maverick in May 2022.
That night, Cruise was joined by fellow cast members including Miles Teller and Jennifer Connelly.
Kate Turns Heads In Plum Gown
Kate made a glamorous entrance at Tuesday’s premiere, which was held at ODEON Luxe Leicester Square in London.
The Princess of Wales wore a rich plum Jenny Packham gown featuring a plunging neckline, ruched detail at the waist and a sweeping skirt.
She completed the look with a striking piece of royal jewelry.
Kate wore the Queen Mother’s Amethyst Sautoir Necklace, a rarely seen necklace featuring pearls, diamonds and amethysts.
The piece was originally given by Queen Alexandra to Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon, the future Queen Mother, as a wedding gift in 1923.
Kate also wore pearl drop earrings that previously belonged to William’s late mother, Princess Diana.
William and Kate appeared relaxed as they arrived at the premiere, smiling for photographers and greeting guests on the red carpet.
Cruise was among those who welcomed the couple.
They also met Digger director Alejandro G. Iñárritu and other members of the cast and creative team.
Royal Premiere Includes Unexpected Moment
The event marked the 73rd Royal Film Performance and was held in support of the U.K.’s Film and TV Charity.
William and Kate were welcomed by representatives of the organization before making their way inside.

Claire Tavernier, chair of the organization, accidentally stepped on the train of Kate’s gown as they came off an escalator.
The princess was briefly thrown off balance.
Tavernier immediately raised her hand in apology, while Kate quickly regained her footing.
Rather than appearing upset, the princess laughed off the moment and continued into the premiere.
The light-hearted reaction came during an otherwise polished evening for the royal couple.
