Fantasy Football Calculator: Soccer And American Football
Fantasy Football Calculator can mean two different things. In soccer, it usually refers to games such as Fantasy Premier League. In the United States, fantasy football normally refers to American football and NFL player scoring.
This GlobeHour tool supports both. The FPL mode follows the current 2026/27 Premier League scoring framework, while the American mode uses common Standard, Half-PPR and PPR offensive scoring presets.
2026/27 FPL Points Calculator
The soccer mode includes appearance points, position-based goal values, assists, clean sheets, goalkeeper saves, penalty saves, bonus points, cards, own goals, goals-conceded deductions for goalkeepers and defenders, and defensive contribution points.
Defensive contribution points remain in FPL for 2026/27. Defenders earn two points after reaching 10 qualifying clearances, blocks, interceptions and tackles. Midfielders and forwards need 12 qualifying actions, with recoveries also included for those positions. The award is capped at two points per match.

How To Calculate FPL Points
Choose the player position first because goal and clean-sheet values change by role. Enter minutes played, goals, assists and the clean-sheet status. Goalkeepers can add saves and penalty saves. Outfield players can enter defensive contributions so the calculator can check the correct threshold automatically.
Then add goals conceded while the player was on the pitch, cards, penalty misses, own goals and bonus points. A clean sheet requires at least 60 minutes played, excluding stoppage time.
Position Matters
Goals are worth 10 for a goalkeeper, 6 for a defender, 5 for a midfielder and 4 for a forward.
Minutes Matter
Players receive one appearance point for playing under 60 minutes and two for reaching 60 minutes.
Defense Matters
Clean sheets, saves and defensive contributions can create important points without a goal or assist.
American Fantasy Football Points Calculator
The American mode converts passing, rushing and receiving production into points. The preset uses one point per 25 passing yards, four points per passing touchdown, one point per 10 rushing or receiving yards, six points per rushing or receiving touchdown, two points per two-point conversion, and minus two for interceptions or fumbles lost.
Reception scoring changes by format: Standard gives zero points per catch, Half-PPR gives 0.5, and full PPR gives one point per reception. This is a common baseline, but individual leagues can customize scoring.
Standard vs Half-PPR vs PPR
Standard or non-PPR scoring adds no points simply for making a reception. Half-PPR adds 0.5 points per catch. Full PPR adds one point per catch. That difference can materially change the value of high-volume running backs, wide receivers and tight ends.
Standard
No reception bonus. Yardage and touchdowns carry more of the scoring weight.
Half-PPR
Adds half a point for every catch and sits between Standard and PPR.
Full PPR
Adds one full point per reception and rewards receiving volume most strongly.
